With more than 15 years of teaching experience and a Masters degree from Manhattan School of Music, Sabeth most recently joined the faculty at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in NYC and has furthermore taught at the California Jazz Conservatory, Jazz Institute Berlin, Folkwang University of the Arts, Franz Liszt University for Music and Dance, JazzHausSchule, and many more offering everything from single lessons to Jazz ensemble classes, vocal ensemble coaching, and choral arranging.
The daughter of German-Argentine musician and composer Gabriel Pérez, Sabeth grew up in a house of music and sang before she could talk. She began performing and recording at the age of 12 and has sustained an ongoing relationship with Germany’s acclaimed WDR Big Band since the age of 13. Many large ensembles, including the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, the Uptown Jazz Tentet, and the EOS Chamber Orchestra, have since followed. Her international collaborations as both performer and composer include projects with multiple Grammy Award winners Billy Childs, Tigran Hamasyan, Keita Ogawa, Jon Cowherd, Ingrid Jensen, Lula Galvão, Theo Bleckmann, and Yasushi Nakamura.
Since moving to New York City, Sabeth has cultivated her unique musical vision, combining dynamic musicianship with a distinctive satin-and-cinnamon voice. Her 2025 album, Searching for Beauty, is a reflection of her artistic vision, inviting listeners into moments of joy and discovery. After performing at renowned New York venues including Dizzy’s Club, 55 Bar, and Birdland, she sold out her album release concert at Manhattan’s Jazz Gallery.
Her latest project, La Adivina, featuring the WDR Big Band, is scheduled for release in 2027.
